Clarion Hotel South Bay

Is a good hotel if your looking to stay a couple of weeks good weekly rates. Will definitely stay again when I am working in the area again in the future.

Close to Ikea and the mall for shoppers, close to the highway for business travelers, pleasant and courteous staff.

When I first called the hotel for directions, no one answered the phone. I called another hotel and asked had they heard of the Clarion, they said "yes" and gave me directions. I called again to make sure we were heading in the right direction and this time I was on hold for approximately 20 minutes. At check-in the staff member was not very helpful (I call his behavior rude). Afterwards when calling back to the room, I could never get a staff member to answer the phone to transfer my call or to answer a question. My guest was very dissatisfied with the room and the quality of service. It was truly a waste of money. There was construction, bath room broken, no comfort, bad internet access. Very bad experience.

Needed a last minute place to crash - arrived very late (2AM), desk person was very helpful, room was tired - clean, comfortable but getting run down - just fine for the time I spent there.

The hotel was great. The location was a bit further from my desired area but overall it was a good room.

The hotel was very comfortable inside and the continental breakfast was very convenient for us. The outside of the hotel need some repair and updating.
